St. John the Baptist Catholic Church at 1015 Baker Street, Costa Mesa, California.

The church grounds are modest on the outside, but pretty well maintained on the inside. I also was pleased by how traditional the procession of the mass was and the ability to explain Catholic concepts to those who may not know them. That said, I felt some of the sermon was more political than religious and maybe didn’t pay as much attention to mercy as it did obedience (even if the latter is the hardest virtue to follow.) That said, I do appreciate their respect to tradition, inclusiveness to all people, and the feeling of being welcomed there.

This is a beautiful church with 24 hour adoration! The priests give thoughtful homilies and are very accessible.
